St Georges Bay

The St. Georges Bay Rd residence was a custom creation for the talented architect, Robyn Bilkey. This build presented unique challenges, being situated on a steep hill, it required the construction of a crane pad. This innovative solution allowed the crane to navigate the concrete tilt panels over the neighbour’s property and into their designated places on site. The final result stands as a striking embodiment of the industrial aesthetic and is a testament to Robyn’s design and the exceptional work the LBG team do. In fact, it was honoured as One Roof’s favourite home of the year in 2018. This project was part of a fruitful collaboration with Robyn and her civil engineer husband Alan, as we had the privilege of building six homes for them before relocating to Whitianga.
